What we are (and what we're not)
Alberta Mortgage Match is a marketing and lead-referral service. We are not a mortgage brokerage, not a lender, and we don't provide mortgage advice. When you complete our request form, we review your goal, city and situation and look for a suitable licensed Alberta mortgage professional. Introductions depend on availability and fit, and your inquiry is shared with one matched professional with your consent.
How the matching works
- You answer a few questions about your goal (buying, renewing, refinancing, consolidating), your city, timeline and situation. No credit check, no SIN, no documents.
- We review your request and look for a licensed Alberta broker who accepts your location and circumstances. We follow up about availability and next steps.
- If an introduction is available, the matched professional contacts you to discuss your needs. Their lender access, services and response time vary; you decide whether to proceed, with no obligation.
How we're paid — plainly
Our matching service is free for consumers. We charge participating brokers a flat marketing fee for introductions, rather than a percentage of a mortgage. The broker explains their own services, compensation and any fees that may apply before you decide whether to proceed.

Where our numbers come from
Our calculators and guides include assumptions, review dates and links to sources such as OSFI, CMHC, CRA and Alberta Land Titles. Figures are estimates for planning, not a rate quote or lending decision. Check each page's date and assumptions, and confirm current requirements with a licensed professional. If you spot an error, email us so we can review it.
What we'll never do
Quote you a specific rate you "qualify" for (only a licensed professional can), sell your information to anyone beyond the broker you consented to hear from, or charge you for anything. See our privacy policy for the full details, including how to withdraw consent at any time.
