Alberta Mortgage Match ("we," "us," "our") operates this website to connect consumers who request mortgage assistance with licensed Alberta mortgage professionals. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and your choices. By submitting our form, you consent to the practices described here.

1. What we collect

When you complete our form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your mortgage inquiry (such as your goal, property location, approximate property value, down payment or mortgage balance range, self-reported credit range, employment type, and timeline). We also automatically collect technical and marketing data such as your IP address, device/browser type, the page you arrived on, referring URL, and campaign parameters (UTM tags, click IDs) for analytics and attribution.

2. How we use it

We use your information to: (a) match you with one or more licensed Alberta mortgage brokers and transfer your inquiry to them; (b) contact you about your inquiry; (c) operate, secure, and improve our service and measure marketing performance; and (d) comply with legal obligations. We assess the information you submit to route your inquiry to an appropriate broker partner.

3. How we share it

Our core service is connecting you with mortgage professionals. With your consent, we disclose the information you submit to one or more licensed Alberta mortgage brokers so they can contact you about your inquiry. Those brokers are independent businesses and handle your information under their own privacy policies. We may also share data with service providers (e.g., hosting, email, analytics) who process it on our behalf, and where required by law. We do not sell your information for unrelated third-party advertising.

4. Your consent (CASL)

By checking the consent box and submitting the form, you give express consent for Alberta Mortgage Match and our licensed broker partners to contact you by telephone, text message, and email regarding your mortgage inquiry. Every commercial email we send identifies us and includes an unsubscribe link. You can withdraw consent at any time by using that link, replying STOP to texts, or emailing krnutting@gmail.com. Withdrawing consent from us does not automatically withdraw consent you may have given a broker you were matched with.

5. Withdrawing consent & accessing your data

Under PIPEDA and Alberta's PIPA you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email krnutting@gmail.com and we will respond within the timelines required by law.

6. Retention

We retain inquiry data only as long as needed to provide and improve our service, demonstrate consent and compliance, and meet legal requirements, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to those who need it.

8. Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. Children

Our service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of majority in Alberta.
